Dear EA,
Firstly, I appreciate what you are doing with the game and respect your updates with the game. However, it's been 6-7 months since I mentioned these requests regarding FNC here on the forums and I am ASTONISHED AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED to see that little to none of them have been implemented. Nevertheless, I am hopeful and wouldn't be making this post again, and quite possibly for the final time, if I didn't have faith in you guys. Please EA, please make this happen. I told you, as a fan of boxing and fight night series (knockout kings days) I am willing to pay 200 (POSSIBLY EVEN MORE) DOLLARS FOR FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION COME MARCH IF THESE THINGS ARE IMPLEMENTED IN THE GAME. SERIOUSLY. YOU HAVE 3 MONTHS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
THIS IS WHAT FIGHT NIGHT CHAMPION NEEDS TO DEMONSTRATE BOXING AUTHENCITY:
ROSTER (This is because THESE BOXERS are the figures that were the pioneers and truest representatives of BOXING in history and have established their legacies and their names FOREVER. How can you NOT include them? IT'S UNFATHOMABLE!
HERE WE GO:
1) Rocky Marciano
2) Joe Louis
3) Jack Dempsey
4) Archie Moore
5) Ezzard Charles
6) Floyd Patterson
7) Jack Johnson
8 ) Willie Pep
9) Jersey Joe Walcott
10) Max Baer
11) Ingemar Johansson
12) Primo Carnera
13) James J. Braddock
14) Max Schleming
15) Contemporary boxers such as: Floyd Mayweather Jr., David Tua, Valuev ETC!
There are many more classic boxers but it's hard to even mention them when the aforementioned LEGENDS and MUST-HAVE boxers are not in the game.
Along with that, the one thing the game DEARLY needs is: UNIQUENESS OF EVERY BOXER! STYLES OF FIGHTING! THAT'S WHAT MAKES THIS THE SWEET SCIENCE! I understand that this is a lot of work, but come on, you guys are professionals capable of doing this aren't you? Who else can do it if not you guys? I know it'll take effort but IMAGINE HOW AMAZING it will be for the game, the fans and the true essence of boxing if every boxer is unique to their style (and truely unique). It can be done EA, please.
It would be absolutely GREAT if you actually give boxers there own unique style! Like...
1. Mike Tyson's Peekaboo style patented.
2. Marciano's crouching (slanted stanced) relentless power-hitting style patented.
3. Foreman's unorthodox (solely arm-reliant uppercuts displayed against Joe Frazier) hitting style patented.
4. Muhammad Ali's deceptive swaying jabs and uppercuts patented.
5. Sugar Ray Robinson's obtuse-angled (his hooks and uppercuts..) punching style patented.
6. Joe louis' explosive (timely counter punches) strikes patented.
7. Floyd Patterson's peekaboo with gazelle-like punching patented.
8. Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s philly shell-highly defensive counter punching style patented.
... So on and so forth.
I request you with utmost sincerity EA, please make this happen and you will truely have the greatest boxing game of all time. PLEASE. If these things are not implemented, I'm sorry to say, I'm never going to buy this game and neither will a few of my friends. I have been waiting for these changes to happen since Fight night round 3. I will lose complete trust in you guys if these changes do not occur come March.
