3 resistance bands

What are the differences in the 3 resistance bands that come with EA Active 2. Green, Purple, blue. Is one more resistance than the other? Are they the same length or for people of different heights? I can't find any reference to them.|||Mine only came with the green one. The colors do show the resistance level for the bands. There is a thera-band website that lists them and I will try to track that down. I believe that the length of the band that came with mine is 5 or 6 feet long. Most people upgrade to better bands pretty quickly because they find that the band that comes with the game is not strong enough.
Did your game come with 3 bands?|||yes. mine came with 3 bands.|||Here is what I found at thera-band.com:
The Thera-Band® System of Progressive Resistance consists of 8 color-coded resistance levels. The color of the band or tubing denotes its resistance level.
Tan = Extra Light Resistance
Yellow = Light Resistance
Red = Medium Resistance
Green = Heavy Resistance
Blue = Extra Heavy Resistance
Black = Special Heavy Resistance
Silver = Super Heavy Resistance
Gold = Maximum Resistance
In general, tan and yellow are used for early rehabilitation or very frail individuals. The most common resistances are red, green & blue. Black, silver and gold are typically used by athletes
There is a lot of good info on their site on using resistance bands. You can buy them at Amazon or try going to your local physical therapist office and you can usually buy them there by the foot.
|||Thanks. I wonder where the purple one fits in there. I'll just start with green.
