When the game data gets deleted from the Xbox 360 and you sign back in with new game data. There is a conflict between what is on the EA servers, the website, and the Xbox.
If you have older data on the EA servers it is never re-synced back with the Xbox saved data.
The game will eventually not work at all giving the error "Error contacting EA servers. Please try again later."
The website and Xbox game will never be in sync again.
Doing a EA persona delete and re-linking the xbox gamertag to the EA master account solves nothing.
Major issues between the game and the Xbox saved data.
I had EA support just tell me there is absolutely nothing they can do!
Great - I have a product that doesn't work at all and I can't get my money back. Anyone want another CD coaster with a brand new game? Anyone?|||I'll pass this on to the team. If I find out a workaround for you, I'll reply back.|||I don't want to get too ahead of myself - but it looks like the website continues to update but the Xbox saved game data never syncs back up.
For example I had to re-joined my workout group even though I was already a member and creator of it.|||The stats should come back to you from the website to the console. Program progress is only stored on your console itself, so that won't be downloaded, just the stats.|||Yeah - don't think that part works.
Testing it out is easy enough. Create a new profile, do a workout, delete the saved game data and try it.
The stats don't come back down from what I've seen.|||Our team tested this out last week, I am not sure if you have entered the same email/password as before?
Anyways, here is the exact info that should be synced up:
When a User deletes their profile and then re-logins using the same account this is the info this synced back down to the console.
Feature Wii PS3/Xbox
Surveys No No
Challenges No No
Goals No No
Totals/Misc *Yes Yes
Trophies Yes** Yes
Guage/pnts No No
Tracker Stats No No
Weight History No No
Settings Yes Yes
For trophies, on the Wii only the awarded status is synced down. So if the user is 95% complete a trophy and then deletes their data, the will lose that 95% and have to restart, but any trophy that’s 100% awarded will be resynced down.
For Totals this is a list of all the synced down stats:
Number of Workouts Completed
Total Calories
Total Distance
Total Duration
Average Heart Rate
Max Heart Rate
Heart Rate Recovery Time
The biggest piece of info the user will lose is their Program info. Their progress will not be resynced down and the user will have to restart their workout.
|||I'll have to check it again this evening and let you know.
Thanks for the clarification on what is sync'd back down to the console.
