Just got this software today. The first time it booted up fine and I installed all the updates etc ...but now I have a profile on it each time I play the disc it takes about 12 minutes for the next dialogue to come up and probably another 10 minutes until I get the menu from there. I'm guessing it shouldn't take this long?
Can anyone assist me?

Thank God I'm not the only one this happens to! I'm losing my mind here. I can't figure out why. I did an install to the hard drive and tried another xbox. Same problem. First time running the EA Active screen takes two minutes to load and then no problem. Second time, 2 minutes on the EA Active screen, then login, wait 6-7 minutes.
Turning off the network connection before you start the game should resolve your problem. Sucks that you can't use Live while working out, but maybe EA might get around to fixing it sometime.
