I almost completed The first phase of the 9 weeks program, and I accidentally chose "Quit Program" from the menus.
Is there something I can do to join back my program?|||If you accidentally chose quit program, unfortunately, there is no way to re-enter the program where you left off.|||The name of this option is confusing... I tought I was performing a "menu back" action or something about navigating the menu or quitting the game. There is a confirmation screen that, I guess, says "do you really want [blablabla]"? But such a feature (erasing a 3 month program....) should be protected!
I mean, I should not be able to trash a month of hard work by spamming the X button... it has to be more complicated to erase data and motivational progress.
Could you please, for the next update, add something to keep "X button spammers" from deleting their own data? (maybe a third-level menu where you need to press another button than X in order to proceed to quit a workout program). I feel like I formated my computer by spamming the ENTER key.
Btw, I really appreciate EA Active 2 for the PS3. It keeps me motivated to stay active. It just sucks that I have been able to quit my program by mistake :). Even if I did not loose any of the actual physical progress it gave me, I feel like it did... just like if I erased a month's worth of playing a regular game (about 4-5 hours, actually).
I believe you really should fix this design issue since it is really demotivational, and the goal of your software/game is to keep people active and motivated.
Thank you :)|||I'll look into it for you, I agree that this data should be treated more special than an ordinary Yes/No popup.|||Thanks|||I find it really upsetting.. i have just got to phase 3 of the work out and my buddy was playing around with the setting and quit the program for me, and now it seems that i have to restart.. very annoying... there should be more than one save file!!!! what an bad developing of the game... really upset right now|||Terrible. I just performed the same delete. I'm not an inexperienced tech user but I managed to do this without much effort. Like the other person, I simply didn't understand that quitting the screen I was on was erasing my entire program. This should be backed up, able to be restored and not so easily deleted. The message presented did not convey magnitude of the action that was taken.
'Quit' and/or 'cancel' do not mean delete all history in any game or software I have ever used.
I am not impressed. I like the program but frankly the thought of starting over is unpleasant at best. Hopefully, I can get myself motivated again to start all over some other day.
