Leg band dissapointment
I bought Wii Active to try and get back into shape and good health.. I quit smoking for more then 2 months and I finally feel my lungs are ready for this. I am A 400 lbs man thats right 400 lbs, however it's not what you think because even though I admit I am out of shape and heavy I am still able to do a lot of things kids half my age who weigh less can't do. My Jobs have always been somewhat physical so I pulled out the Wii Active game I was confident and excited that I could do this and would like doing it. TO MY DISSAPOINTMENT The leg band barely fits if I use the little piece they give you to make it smaller to actually make the strap longer I can get through the workout. I completed my first workout today it was fun I built a good sweat up but I hated messing with the leg band along the way. If they were as smart as they are suppose to be they might have thought that there may be some people larger then 300lbs that might want to use this game and they might have also given you a longer piece of velcro as well as the short one for those who need it longer. Fat or Muscle if the Quad are is huge it won't fit. And yes by the way setting the limit to 300lbs in the profile is a bit discriminative. Is everyone 301 lbs just plain out of luck in finding a game to help them get in shape?|||I totally feel your pain with the leg strap issue. I put it on for the first time last night and it would't fit. I jimmied it like you did and was able to hobble thru a workout for 30min but most of my sweat was the up down of the leg strap! I read a website blog that said to get a wide strip of velcro that attaches to the existing band and make it as large as we need. I hope to find a joann fabrics or Michaels near my house or work so I can try this out. I don't get what they were thinking, just of the thinner folk? Ugh. Good luck. Nice poll! :)
