I know you can skip activities by x-ing the box, but this cuts out a significant part of the workout. I also realize that I can set up custom workouts, which I don't feel familiar enough with the activities or have confidence in my abilities to create balanced workouts.
I have had 3 back surgeries and 2 knee surgeries and will reallly have to come a LONG way before I am ready to run or jump.
Is there anyway to just say keep workouts low-impact for this profile?|||I don't believe there's a Low Impact functionality on Active... I think the only way you would be able to do this is to create your own Custom Workouts. Maybe try following the tabs in the Custom Workout section. Most of the running and jumping exercises are in the Cardio section, so maybe you could try the Upper body and the Lower body exercises. GL.

Also, for track running, just march on the spot, when it asks you to run. And you can always do boxing, more often. We want you to stay injury-free, so you can keep training, so go ahead and modify as I have suggested and keep ACTIVE!
|||I also prefer low imact. i walk when they say run, yes it says too slow but the exercise eventually finishes and I step sideways and put my hands in the air for the sidways jumps. This way i can do the 30 day challange and get a good workout. i then do kickboxing or dance to make sure I get good cardio.|||

I could be mistaken, but I thought that the preset workout section did include easy and hard low-impact workouts. Granted, that's only two low-impact workouts, but it's better than nothing. To get more, you'd probably have to create custom workouts, as others suggested.|||Yes there is Low impact but it wants you to run from day one. This and the resistance bands needing to be tougher are my only complaints. I try and walk fast and run in spurts. I am heavy and love the workout it gives me but hate the track part. On low impact it should work up from walking to running gradually. Walking for 10 sec is not a good build up. I like the KickBacks and high knees on the track but the running from day one is too hard for most low impact people.|||

Oh I guess I missed those. Thanks for the info.
- g.cKz|||I would do some of the preset work outs. Skip the ones that you can't do, and write down the ones you can. Then build your own custom routine based on the ones you feel are low impact enough for you.
