Obtaining Ea server message

Hi I bought ps3 ea active today
I keep getting in a pop up box message
(obtaining ea server data)
This may take a moment
But I wait and wait and nothing happens any one else got this|||I think there may be a few bugs yet and a lot of people are trying to use the service. I've gotten that error a few times but tried later and it worked. All your data is saved so it can be put on the server next time you log in.|||Here is a video of the glitch I've got on ps3 ea active 2

Any one else got this|||I get that a lot. I think it's just because the server is busy because if I wait long enough it usually connects. You can also cancel and it will update your info the next time you connect.|||Ok thanks for the reply mate.nice.
I would of been nice for ea to have give me an answer but can't have everything can I.|||I bought NFL training camp for Wii yesterday and so far I've tried 3 times and it says there has been a network error.|||Bumping this to page 1. We need all of these server connection issues to be seen front and center!!|||I realize that one of the features of the game was to be the online connection and joining groups but really, is it that big of a deal if it's working or not? It doesn't interfere with your use of the program. You can still do your workouts just the same as we did for the first 2 versions. I just don't see what everyone is getting so worked up about.|||Same here, get that alot. Either it times out or it disappears. Well firstly I think the game Is brilliant better than going the gym infact it's genius.
The reason it's bugging me is when I navigate to and fro in menus a pop up box keeps appearing trying to connect to ea server,I have to keep cancelling it.
Therefore this server data thing failing to connect and the box popping up etc.is Interfearing with the game navigation.
That's why it's bugging people.
But yea it's doing my head in and Ye I'm on strike till it's fixed.
But the game is genius
Ps ea seNd me 1 of them cool blue gym shirts please to keep me stum|||Derek, just turn off the auto connect feature in the settings and you won't get those pop ups. All your data will be saved and if they get it working you can connect and upload it to the site. I gave up on the website after the first day anyway because I really can't see that much benefit to it.
I love the program and will keep using it whether they get the online features working or not. I get more annoyed when things within the game don't work so it messes up my workouts and I've had very few of those so far.|||For me the problem seems to have resolved itself. Although, it can take 20-30 seconds for the message to complete. And while data that was not downloaded when it was a problem, it did download on a subsequent workout. However, it showed up as a missed workout and two completed workouts on the same day! Go figure!|||Your connection issues should be resolved now - mine were.|||If you use wireless connection, it could take longer to connect to the server. I switched to wired connection and it is much better now.
