OFFICIAL network issues thread

Thank you for reporting that you are still having connection issues. The dev team is working trying to figure out why certain people are unable to connect while others can. And here is where you can help us solve these issues.
We would like to focus on the people who are having problems with connecting from the console product. Please post in this thread if you are having connection problems and please if possible provide the following information to help us solve this problem:
1) What platform (360/PS3/Wii) are you playing EA Sports Active on
2) Have you ever been able to connect to the EA Sports Active servers before (with the game, not website)?
3) Are you on a Wifi wireless connection or a wired connection?
4) What country are you located in?
5) What is the text of the error message you receive when attempting to connect online with EA Sports Active
6) When you receive the error message, please specify at what point you receive it:
a. You finish a workout – Did you get a new milestone?
b. Complete a goal
c. Complete a survey
d. Start a Program
e. Change your Program schedule
f. Join a workout group
g. Create a workout group
h. Compare Rewards of workout group
i. Other (please specify):
7) Are you also having problems accessing the website and if so what area’s of the website are you having problems with?

After login at the start of the game

-Yes, workouts not updating sometimes on the website (This is before the server connection problems started), can't test now.
-Some workout not showing heart rate on graph
-Clicking the circle on to display some workouts will make the entire graph disappear

No, I can access the website now.
My Wii seems to be connecting for a short period before it goes to the network error message because every time I try it a little bit of data gets added to the website so it's not a total lack of connection. It seems to just not be able to maintain the connection. It always updates my milestones in the feed section but misses my workouts.

6) i) when I try to connect at the opening screen and various other times it tries to connect, such as after the workout when it saves and tries to sync my data, when i try to connect manually, when I try to access groups from the wii.
7) The website seems fine, now. Both weren't working before.|||I was having issues all the way until noon PST. I just power cycled and it looks like I'm connected now. Also, all stats updated in my existing groups. Thanks EA!

2) Yes, during the first couple of days but not so much lately. However, I noticed that a few of my recent stats were listed online but not all. In addition, when this problem first started occuring, I could "cancel" connecting and it would automatically connect me online and update all of my stats but this hasn't occurred since 11/19. Only partial information seems to get updated when it attempts to connect to the network.

6) Other (please specify): When I begin the game, it attempts to connect and will give me a network error message. Also, anytime I select an option that requires me to connect online, I receive the same message like if I click on "Workout Groups"
7) I experienced major problems earlier this week but everything seems okay right now.|||Mine just came disconnected again.

2.) I was able to connect on the first day I tried (Friday, Nov 19) and haven't been able to connect since.

7.) I was having problems accessing the website on Monday and Tuesday. Since then, I have not encountered problems with the website.
Another anomaly...the website has SOME of my updates. I started the 90 day challenge Friday and had some issues so I had to abandon it. Monday, It started me off with a fitness test. I completed this and then started a new 90 day challenge. The 2 first workouts (Friday and the fitness challenge) have updated to the server. The workouts I have completed for my new challenge (Monday and Tues) have not updated; however it shows I've reached a couple of milestones including 400 calories and GOAL! on 11/24. I still have not been able to connect successfully through the game since Friday so it's really odd that the website shows me as hitting the milestones just today. Just tossing out an idea, but I have a feeling that cancelling my original challenge and starting a new one has something to do with it. Maybe my account info is hung/locked on one of your servers??|||1) Wii

Interesting to note that my number of trophies/milestones is getting updated, but nothing else seems to be.|||Thanks everyone. We have discovered the issue that caused some users being unable to connect to the EA Servers (and seeing: "There has been a network error. You will be taken offline. Something on how I changed my password and it is different then what is stored on the wii. Two screens pop up. The top screen in the usual connecting to the EA Servers that never goes away and the bottom is most likely where I can update my password. When I click away from the top screen, the game will exit that screen and go offline.

7) Yes, I had problems with webiste too. Only the first workout is updated and nothing for the second workout.

Yes. It worked on Saturday 20th. Didn't work from Monday 22nd and onwards.

At startup and when trying the "Connect online" option in "Online settings"

Website seems to be working ok.
