Balance board does not report the weight - EA also loop then

Hello,
I have a Snakebyte Premium Fitness Board which should be compatible with the Nintendo BB.
WII is 1 month old, EA and Board are 1 week old. All German versions.
It works fine so far with the workouts.
If I want to meassure the my weight via the BB it does not work:
- I get the screen to step down (red cross) - what I did.
- It shows "wait"
- Screen shows to step on the BB (green) - I do and I even don't breath to be very quiet.
- It shows "wait"
- Then the message is shown that it can not meassure and I should press "A" - even the BB shows me on it's display the weight.
... from now on I can repeat only those steps - Even the "Home" does not work - I need to reboot (but this is not my main issue)
any ideas?

So maybe I need to send back the BB.|||Only the original Wii Balance Board is fully supported.|||Today, my original Wii board started behaving like this as well. Endless loop can't be quit.
Some time ago I got the same, but suddenly was able to register the weight by holding my breath and keep completely still. This is ridiculous, as the Wii Fit game doesn't have any trouble measuring.
