Console Freeze Mid Workout - No Credit

What does anyone suggest you do if you are 50% complete on a workout and the console freezes? I was 14 or 28 complete and 20 minutes into the workout and the console froze. I came back up hoping I could just say resume workout. I selected Workouts option, workout #2, and then it asked me if I wanted to start workout from History. I took that to mean it would resume based on my last saved history.
1) I do not understand why a workout progress is NOT saved after each excercise.
2) In order to complete the workout, I turned OFF all the excercises I had already done. So I completed the workout. I only got credit for the last 1/2 of the workout.
3) I went into my journal and added activity outside of Active 2, just so it would count something toward my goal. I put 5 minute run and 5 minutes of dancing for 150 calories. HOwever this does not count against my progress online or on the console. I only see progress for the excercises/workouts.
I read about alot of freezes and such. However I was hoping they would be worked out after the holidays. This is very frusterating. Any ideas what to do in this situation?|||There have been suggestions that turning off the Speech Recognition and installing EASA 2 to your hard drive improves the issue if you are experiencing crashes on the Xbox 360 Kinect version.
We are looking into the issue and aim to fix it in the patch due in February.|||

Good that you are working on this - I really hope the patch saves progress after each exercise - to eliminate worries of crashing or power outages, etc. I don't have room on my hard drive for another game so that is an unacceptable fix to me.
|||I am having the same issue. I've lost progress in two workouts during the cool-down phase. It's incredibly frustrating that the auto-save feature that I have to acknowledge before each and every workout only seems to 'auto-save' after the entire workout is complete!! I hope that in addition to fixing the cause of these freezes, EA also enhances the auto-save feature to save progress between each exercise so we can resume a workout if it freezes or we lose power.
Perhaps coincidentally, my freezes have occured when we briefly lose internet connectivity in our house.
If the feb update fixes the freeze issue, auto-saves more frequently, and improves the accuracy of floor exercises (repeating star planks over and over is a bit more painful than I like in my workout :) this will be a great title for me!
