EA Sports Active 2 - PS3

I have a couple of questions that I really would like the answer for.
1 - The game states 1-2 players but for me to play with my partner I had to by a second game. Why do I need to buy a second game if I can only use one disk at the time?
2 - Issues & problems.
2a - Sensors are often wrong when it comes down to slow exercises I spend a long time doing perfect exercises, holding still or stretching and it does not register it.
2b - Completed a whole workout and in the end the game just stuff in the loading ….
2c – On the squads the sensors go absolutely berserk jumping up and down and shaking.
I purchased my first game set at xmas for £69 pounds and now I purchased the second one so I could exercise with my partner, I would expect a better product for my money.
Also no updates, patches or additional downloads.
|||I have a couple of answers to your questions but not all of them! :)
1- you only need a second set of sensors for your partner. Of course it costs just as much for the sensors as it does for the whole game now! You need the second set so the 2nd players movements can be tracked.
2c- this really sounds like you have the leg sensor on upside down. It should be on the front of your right thigh with the lights facing up towards the ceiling. Make sure the picture on the sensor shows the man with his legs down towards the ground.
2a- Make sure on the slow exercises that you are moving fast enough to juggle the sensor. Slow and smooth is not good for Active 2. If it isn't picking it up juggle the arm or leg so the snsor gets a little shock...sometimes that is all it needs. Another tip is to make sure you wait for the chime and your trainer to move before you move. If you go too soon the game won't pick it up.
2B- I don't understand.
There have been 2 updates/patches to the game for PS3 to correct the earlier bugs. Make sure you have downloaded the latest. I don't know about additional downloads and I would like to see some new material too!!|||Hi Kranders, thank you for the information you have provided, I guess it all make sense, I do have one more question though and that is why:
1 - I start a program under my profile.
2 - My partner starts the same program under her profile.
3 - I start my profile, start a work out with a friend, invite her in, she logs in and do the work out with me.
Same work out at the same time.
4 - We complete the work out, update details, log off as me and log back in as her, check her profile and then we have the issue.
Active 2 stats she did a work out (GREAT) but her scheduled work out in not ticked and we need to do it all over again under profile as she is then the primery player.
I would expect if you did a work out together Active 2 should acknoledge and tick the box as scheduled work completed.
Can you explain that or am I doing something wrong?|||I haven't personally used the multi player functions since I workout by myself, but it seems like I heard in the past that there have been problems doing the challenge with two people.
I don't think you are doing anything wrong and there is a problem in the programming of the game. Maybe someone who is more familiar with muli player mode will chime in and provide more info.
You shouldn't have to do every workout twice and I don't know how long you could keep that up as the length and difficulty of the exercises ramp up the further you get into the phases of the challenge!!
