PS3 Loading Problem

Hi to all
I cannot even start the game.
I have bought it yesterday and wanted to play. The game downloaded the 1.01 update.
If I start the game there is just the loading screen. Nothing happens. No feedback; No error message.
I am now waiting for half an hour. Still no change. :)
I have tried it with connected and disconnected usb stick.
What is wrong? I cannot even start the game!
I made a youtube video of the problem (sorry for bad quality):

Can please someone look into this issue? I cannot believe, I am the only one with this problem?|||Have you allready tried to start the Program when the PS3 is not connected to the internet?
The EA Webserver are realy an *, and since xmas the ps3 user doubled now they have 20000 within the 9Weekprogram(bevore 10000)
Since this time the server makes many troubles.
The game definily crashes if there is a communication problem.
For example if you start the weekly fittnestest with the german server, it crashes after the Test finishes.
(You realy have to reboot the ps3)
Disconnecting the ps3 helps here.
EA doesnt seem to have an Idea how IP communication works after all
|||I have now tried it offline, and it works.
A simple error message or timeout would have helped a lot. :)
Nevertheless thanks for your help.|||I am having this same problem with just the loading circule... how do I play it offline? :)
|||In the PS menu:
Settings -> Network settings -> Internet connection
Maybe the wording is a little bit different. Don't remember exactly.|||Thank you, that solved my problem.
What an idiot mistake, why not add an error message instead of being stuck loading forever.|||Thanks for putting this up! I just bought it today and I can't get past the loading screen...|||Now you all know why I am playind PES not FIFA.
(Starting another PES vs FIFA discussion)|||We haven't been able to reproduce this issue yet. It seems to have only started to appear sometime around the 27th up until the 1st.
Can you provide us with some extra info?
1) Have you ever been able to get to the Press Start title screen in the past, or did it just start occurring one day?
2) Do you have a wired/wireless connection. If wireless, can you try wired?
3) Which country are you located?
4) Which language is your game set to?
5) If you get into EASA 2 via diabling your internet, if you create a new profile, or delete your existing profile, and reboot, are you able to enter EASA 2 with internet enabled?
6) If that still doesn't work, if you have a media server (PC) can you turn this off in the PS3 XMB settings and see if that helps?
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide,
EA_Brad|||Occuring for me as well.
I can ONLY reach the "push start" screen if the internet connection is turned off, or disabled at the PS3 XMB.
This is quite obviously not good.
I have not been able to reach the "push start" screen ANY time with the internet turned on.
Is there any fix for me to be able to play with any network capabilities at all?
The PC Media server connectivity settings are always turned off on my PS3, and the internet connection is wifi, if it helps.|||

1) Was this a temporary issue, or do you still need to keep your internet off?

The problem still exists. I cannot start the game with a active internet connection.

2) If this issue still occurs for you with the internet on, is your PC set up as a media server?

No. But i really don't know, why this schould make any difference?|||That is unusual.
It is weird that the first time this issue was reported was at a particular time period from the 27th to the 31st.
I've updated my questions above. Can you please provide a bit more info if possible?|||I have now made some additional tests:
My problem has definitely to do something with the "Media Server Connection" setting of my PS3. If I disable this setting, everything works fine. If I reenable it, I only see the spinning wheel (as in the video).
Here are also my additional answers:

1) Have you ever been able to get to the Press Start title screen in the past, or did it just start occurring one day?

I am not able to connect if "Media Server Connection" is enabled on the PS3.

2) Do you have a wired/wireless connection. If wireless, can you try wired?

Wireless. Not tried with a wired connection.

3) Which country are you located?

Austria

4) Which language is your game set to?

German

5) If you get into EASA 2 via diabling your internet, if you create a new profile, or delete your existing profile, and reboot, are you able to enter EASA 2 with internet enabled?

No change.
BTW: Thanks for the hint with the "media server connection". This workaround is sufficient for me. Nevertheless I think there exist a major bug which should be fixed.
|||Hmm. There seems to be two unrelated issues then.
RE: Sandino
There seems to be an issue if the Media Server is turned on, if you have a lot of music playlists. I am glad that helped resolved the issue. We have heard of issues similar to the XBOX 360 version, which we aim to fix in the next patch update.
RE: colmshan1990
If your media server setting is already set to off in the PS3, then you may have a different issue. If you are able to create a new user/profile, are you able to get in? (You'll need to turn off your internet the first time going into EASA 2)
|||Today I wanted to play again.
Same issue. The workaround with "Media Server Connection" doesn't work for me anymore.
This is so annoying.
I still can only play offline.
