If i skip these can I substitute anything. alo the jumps are not feeling to great either.|||This seems to be a common experience. One suggestion has been to make sure you warm up and stretch BEFORE you start your Active workout. Make sure your form is correct: your knees should NEVER go past the front of your toes. I'd suggest you google "how to do squats" and watch some videos for good form. Best of luck!|||my problem my body doesn't want to get in that posistion and then out of it..|||Everyone has a group of exercicesthat are hard on the body. Do the best you can and the squats will eventually come. They really do help improve lower body strength and flexibility. As for the jumps I dont jump,i just extended. I get credit for teh rep but am told I could do better. i know that i am doing my best and just keep going.|||
I'm on day 10 my knee's are killing me. Can't get those extended squats for anything, any idea's need to strengthen the quad's to lessen the femoral-patella pain. I am 56 & had surgery on the right knee over 10 yrs ago

I have had 2 knee surgeries one on each knee and it has been over 10yrs for me, awhile ago I could not do lunges nor squats. Something that I discovered was that I could not do then without pain because I was not doing them correctly :) You have to make sure that your knee does not go over the top of your toes. Also make sure that your stretching properly before. On the jumps try not going down as deep and only jump a little until your muscles build up more, I hope this helps some.
